Why work in Paramedicine?

Paramedics are the senior ambulance service healthcare professionals at an accident or a medical emergency. Often working by themselves, paramedics are responsible for assessing the patient’s condition and then giving essential treatment.

What sort of work can you do in Paramedicine at SCHT?

Within Shropshire Community Health Trust, paramedics work with the Minor Injury Units, regarding accident and emergency in Bridgnorth, Ludlow, Oswestry and Whitchurch.

They also work in Rapid Response Teams alongside nurses and AHP’s
