We want to involve patients, carers, members of the public and staff in how we plan and improve our services. We aim to provide different ways for people to get involved, as different approaches suit different people and occasions.

Sometime this involves both formal and informal consultations with patients and other interested stakeholders.

We are also very keen to hear from patients about their experiences of services, so we can use that feedback to improve our services.

As a patient, you can take part in the various surveys and focus groups carried out regularly by our services, including the Friends and Family Test.

You can also contact the Patient Advice and Liaison Service (PALS) if you have questions or concerns or want to tell us about your experience.

From time to time, we will carry out consultations where we ask patients and the public for their views on a particular topic for a specific period of time. At the moment Shropshire Community Health NHS Trust is not carrying out any consultations, but if there are any in future, we will make details available on our website, as well as in other ways such as through the local media.

You can also become involved in finding out more about healthcare issues by contacting Healthwatch Shropshire or Healthwatch Telford and Wrekin.
