Interpreter / Translation Services

For service users and carers with differing language needs, Shropshire Community Health NHS Trust uses an interpreter and translation service.

This service can be accessed by informing a member of staff, who will arrange an interpreter for you. Notice is usually required for booking face to face interpreters however you can access a telephone interpreter instantly.

Interpreters are fully trained, confidential and free of charge.

Should you require written documents to be translated into a different language, this can be arranged for you by informing a member of staff. It usually takes 24hours for a document to be translated.

The Interpreting Service offers interpreting and translation in most languages, please contact the PALS service if you or someone you know needs anything translating.
