Comments, complaints & equality

Overview

Fairness, dignity, equality and respect are all basic human rights, so we cannot afford anything less than zero tolerance if they are breached.

Since the Trust was formed in July 2011, there have been no complaints or PALS requests relating to Equality and Diversity issues, or where someone has said they feel they may have been treated unfavourably on the basis of being in a protected group. The Trust will publish information regarding the numbers of equality-related complaints or PALS requests on this webpage.

Your comments and compliments and complaints are always welcome and can help to improve the service we provide.

If you have any thoughts about your experience of Shropshire Community Health NHS Trust in relation to equality and diversity, please feel free to use the contact details as follows:

Patient Advice and Liaison Service (PALS)

If you would like to talk to someone about a concern to do with our services, contact our Patient Advice and Liaison Service (PALS). PALS is not part of the formal complaints procedure itself; instead it aims to help resolve any concerns you may have informally. Contact PALS on the details opposite.

However, if your problem or concern cannot be resolved in this way, or you remain dissatisfied and you want to make a formal complaint, please let us know as soon as possible.
