Screening tools

Shropshire, Telford and Wrekin Speech, Language and Communication advisory group (Commissioners and providers across both Local Authorities and Health, and Early Years and School Age staff) have been looking at all the screening tools currently being used and have reviewed the evidence base and extent of their use for them. We've agreed these are the ones we use locally.

Access to Early Talk and Primary Talk to support settings to deliver a universal offer with speech, language and communication needs is also being considered by both Local Authorities.
