Urgent or out of hours treatment
It's vital that when people need care quickly, they get the right type of care, in the right place and at the right time.
Shropshire Community Health NHS Trust provides a range of urgent and out of hours care for people in Shropshire and Telford & Wrekin. This includes running the county's Minor Injury Units, which allows people the opportunity to see specialist nursing teams if they have a minor accident or injury. This saves having to travel to one of the county's major A&E units, if the accident or injury can be treated more locally.
The Trust also provides out of hours nursing and out of hours specialist dental services.
