GPs refer in to the service via the Choose and Book system available in GP practices.

Types of patients regularly seen
The APCS Community Rheumatology Service sees patients with rheumatology conditions, these include conditions that cause pain and swelling in the joints. Hands, feet and wrists are commonly affected, but it can also include other parts of the body.
This service is currently available to patients aged 16 and over.
