How do Care Professionals refer to this service?
All health care professionals should email referrals to shropcom.physioclinics@nhs.net.
Unfortunately self referrals can not be accepted.
Types of patients regularly seen
This service typically sees patients with injuries and conditions which affect the muscles, joints and soft tissues. Injuries which can be treated by Musculoskeletal Physiotherapists can include:
- Ligament sprains
- Muscle strains
- Arthritis
- Cartilage tears
- Pre and post surgery rehabilitation
- Fracture rehabilitation
- Back pain
Patients not seen by this service
The service does not see patients with the following issues:
- neurological problems
- respiratory problems
- rehabilitation based problems (e.g. falls)
