Moving and Handling Services
This part of the website has been designed specifically for GPs, Clinical Commissioning groups, care homes and other care professionals who need the service referral information or access to Trust policies and care leaflets.
Types of patients regularly seen
The service normally sees people with a long term disability including:
- neurological trauma (head injuries)
- spinal injuries
- elderly/frail people
- children born with congenital conditions
Patients not seen by this service
This service is currently available to residents within the Telford and Wrekin area.

Yes we do both advisors have done handling children courses, joint working may be appropriate with referrer /children trained professional.
